Model & Example Licensing

This page explains which AI models ImgRestyle uses, where their terms are, and which example images on the site are verified and which were removed because we could not verify them. We do not claim that any model licence or example image has been fully cleared legally.

Models we use

All three are provided through fal.ai and used under the fal.ai terms of service (https://fal.ai/terms) and the terms of each model's upstream provider. fal.ai also publishes supplemental terms and a usage policy that may apply: the API services terms (https://fal.ai/legal/api-services) and the acceptable use policy (https://fal.ai/legal/acceptable-use-policy). We do not restate their content here. The links are entry points we keep; terms can change, so read the current text yourself. We give no legal advice about them.

Caveats on commercial use

  • Whether a provider's terms allow your particular commercial use is for you to confirm; we cannot guarantee it.
  • A model licence is not a guarantee about the output: AI output may not be protected by copyright and may resemble existing works, trademarks or likenesses. We cannot clear third-party rights for you.
  • You must have the rights to your inputs (see the Acceptable Use Policy). Check third-party rights before you publish.

Example images on the site: verified versus unavailable

Publicly retained today: 5 AI-generated source images (a pet, a product, a vase, a farmhouse and a pencil-sketch cottage), made on 2026-11-06 by text-to-image with FLUX.1 [schnell] (Black Forest Labs; the model card states Apache-2.0 and that it can be used for personal, scientific and commercial purposes; the fal page also tags commercial use). No uploaded, stock or reference images were used, and each image was checked by eye for logos, legible text, people and characters. This is a record, not full legal clearance, and we did not run a reverse-image search. They only show what an input can look like; they are not output results.

Removed because unverified:

  • Every transformed example output: the 8 "after" images produced with the Photoreal edit endpoint. Their marketing-use rights were never verified, so they are gone from the site and the public directory.
  • Every GIF example output: the 3 GIFs produced with the Precise endpoint, removed for the same reason.
  • All examples showing people and the images of the retired people-focused tools, as well as the previous social-preview image.

We no longer display any model-edited example result; you see outputs only in your own generations.

Trademarks and non-affiliation

ImgRestyle is an independent service, not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any model provider, fal.ai, studio or brand. Model, company and product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the models we actually use.
