Copyright & IP Complaints

Last updated: November 7, 2026

ImgRestyle (operated by YingYen Dev) respects intellectual property and other people's likeness and privacy rights, and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how to report content you believe infringes your rights and what we do with a report. It is a good-faith internal process, not legal advice.

Our role and limits, stated plainly

  • We have no public gallery or user showcase. A generated result is returned only to the user who requested it, as a link to an image hosted by our AI provider fal.ai; our servers do not store users' uploads or results (see the Privacy Policy). We may therefore be unable to see the material you are reporting and may ask you for a link or file.
  • We are not a registered DMCA designated agent and we do not claim safe-harbor protection. This page is a good-faith process; it does not change any rights or duties anyone has under law.
  • Reports are investigated manually by the operator. We have no automatic enforcement and no admin moderation system, blocklist or account-status control; any account restriction or termination, and any request to a provider, is a manual action by the operator and is limited by what we can technically do.
  • We do not use automated copyright review, image recognition or reverse-image search. Reports are handled by a person reading what you send and what we can access.

How to report

Email support@imgrestyle.com with the subject "Copyright / IP complaint". This is our only intake channel. To let us act, please include as much of the following as you can:

  1. Your name and contact details (email, plus phone or postal address if relevant).
  2. What right is affected: the work (title or description), the trademark or likeness right, and where the original or proof of your right can be found (URL, registration number, etc.).
  3. Where the allegedly infringing material is: the URL of a page on our site, or a link to the generated result (for example the fal.ai image URL), the date, and how it is being used as far as you know. If you have no link, tell us how you learned about it.
  4. Why you believe it infringes or violates a rule (copyright, trademark, likeness or privacy, deepfake, impersonation, etc.).
  5. A statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them, that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law, and that the information in your report is accurate.
  6. Your signature (your typed full name is enough).

Reports about a real person's likeness, privacy or deepfakes go to the same address; please say that you are the person depicted or act for them.

How we investigate and what we can do

  • Review: we read your report and may ask for more information (such as the file or link). We aim to act promptly but do not promise a fixed response time.
  • Action within our control: depending on the case the operator may, manually, decline related requests, disable or restrict features, restrict or terminate the account (for example by editing or deleting account records), and keep the records needed to handle the matter. We currently have no automated blocklist, so we cannot promise that an anonymous user or a particular identifier is prevented from coming back.
  • Provider coordination: where the material is a result hosted by our provider, we may forward the report to fal.ai or our hosting provider and ask them to act under their own process. Whether and when a hosted file is removed is up to the provider; we do not control it and cannot guarantee deletion.
  • Notice: we may tell the reported user about the report and share its content, including your contact details. If you object, say so in your report; we may then be unable to act on it.

Good-faith disputes

If you are the reported user and believe the report is mistaken, or that your use is authorised, a permitted use or not infringing, email support@imgrestyle.com with your reasons, your contact details and the basis of your licence or right. We weigh both sides in good faith and decide whether to keep, adjust or lift a measure; where we have reasonable doubt we may keep access disabled. Nothing here prevents anyone from going to a court or authority, and we do not give legal advice.

False or bad-faith reports

Reports that are knowingly false or made in bad faith may be ignored and can expose the reporter to legal liability. Please report only where you have the right to.

Repeat infringers

Our policy is to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances; termination is a manual action by the operator, applies to accounts, and cannot reliably stop anonymous use. More than one substantiated report, or a serious violation, can lead to termination without refund of used credits (unless the law says otherwise).
